چکیده
The issue of high concentration salt in soil is not restricted to coastal areas, but also expands cultivated lands, complicating, or even intercepting, the growth plants. objective this paper study effect zeolite, compost and effective microorganisms (EM), seaweed extract, ceramic powder on MM106 apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) plants normal saline conditions. More specifically, weight dry matter plants, physiological parameters, proline, carbohydrate, carotenoid, phenolic, flavonoid concentrations leaf tissues antioxidant capacity were determined. At end experiment, it was ascertained that treatments which included zeolite EM exhibited highest leaves (5.07 g 4.68 g, respectively) conditions (4.14 3.02 respectively), while control treatment 4.37 absence 2.34 presence NaCl. Furthermore, these resulted significantly higher proline plant under salinity with values 5.63 treatment, 2.44 0.75 μmol/g fresh control. same time, application combination led rate photosynthesis (12.8 μmol CO2/m2s), extract spraying associated low stomatal conductance all (0.09–0.13 mol H2O/m2s). Overall, appeared associate more vigor both In context, implementation could improve potted be used orchards before after their establishment.

Phytohormone Interaction Modulating Fruit Responses to Photooxidative and Heat Stress on Apple (Malus domestica Borkh.)
Sun-related physiological disorders such as sun damage on apples (Malus domestica Borkh) are caused by cumulative photooxidative and heat stress during their growing season triggering morphological, physiological, and biochemical changes in fruit tissues not only while it is on the tree but also after it has been harvested. The objective of the work was to establish the interaction of auxin (in...
متن کاملTriterpenes and Phenolic Compounds in Apple Fruit (Malus domestica Borkh.)
Apple (Malus × domestica Borkh.), a popular and widely cultivated fruit world-wide, contains bioactive triterpenes and phenolic compounds with potentially valuable pharmacological functions. This thesis investigated the effects of pre-harvest and postharvest factors on concentrations of these bioactive compounds in apples. It also studied the effect of ozone treatment, before or during storage,...
متن کاملphysiological and Biochemical responses of different sesame (sesamum indicum) genotypes under salinity stress
Sesame seeds are a good source for food and health due to their protein and unsaturated fatty acids and secondary metabolites such as lignans. Soil and water salinity is one of the most important factors limiting the growth of this crop. By examining the physiological reactions related to salinity tolerance among different landraces and cultivars, tolerant and sensitive cultivars can be selecte...
متن کاملEffects of Apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) Diet on Rat Reproduction and Sex Ratio of Offsprings
Background & Aims: Apple (Malus domestica Borkh. from Rosaceae family), a rich source of phytoestrogenes has not been thoroughly tested for its reproductive effects. In this study, we investigated the effects of apple diet on rats' reproduction. Method: Nine groups of NMRI rats (n= 10 females + 2 males) with different apple diets (free- apple diet and apple diet in every other day and every tow...
متن کاملThe Effect of Aminolevulinic Acid on Physiological and Biochemical Characters of Red-fleshed Apple (Malus sp. Genotype R1R1) under Salinity Stress
The present study was conducted to evaluate the ameliorating effect of 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) on physiological and biochemical changes of induced NaCl-salinity stress on in vitro shoot and callus cultured of red-fleshed apple. Shoot and callus segments of the red-flesh apple of Local Iranian genotype were cultured on MS medium containing different levels of NaCl (0, 30, 60 and 90 mM) and A...
